USAAF Advanced Landing Ground in the Cotentin Peninsula, near Utah Beach. Built in June 1944 to support airborne and ground operations in the Manche department. Located close to the 82nd and 101st Airborne drop zones, it served as a forward base for aircraft covering the breakout toward Cherbourg.
