Aldbourne Camp
Aldbourne, GB
The English village of Aldbourne and its surroundings in Wiltshire served as the final billet for the **506th Parachute Infantry Regiment** during the months of preparation before D-Day. Men of **Easy Company, 506th PIR** were quartered in local homes and trained on the nearby downs — forming the bonds described in *Band of Brothers* that would sustain them through Normandy, Eindhoven, Bastogne, and the final drive into Germany.
