ALG A-13 Tour-en-Bessin

USAAF Advanced Landing Ground near Tour-en-Bessin, Calvados, south of Bayeux. Built during the summer of 1944 to supplement the coastal ALGs as the front line moved southward. Served IX Tactical Air Command units providing air superiority and ground attack support during the attritional battles of the bocage.
