Arnhem Oosterbeek War Cemetery

Contains 1,759 Commonwealth soldiers who fell during the Battle of Arnhem in September 1944, the majority from the British **1st Airborne Division**. Maintained by the **Commonwealth War Graves Commission**, the cemetery is surrounded by woodland and is the site of an annual remembrance ceremony attended by local Dutch schoolchildren.
