ALG A-12 Lignerolles

USAAF Advanced Landing Ground near Lignerolles, Orne, constructed during the Allied breakout from Normandy. Part of the rapidly advancing network of tactical airfields that kept fighter-bomber units in range of the retreating Wehrmacht. The ALGs in the Orne–Perche corridor supported operations along the southern flank of the Falaise Pocket.
