IS-2 Memorial Tank — Gdańsk

Soviet IS-2 (Josef Stalin) heavy tank preserved as a memorial in Gdańsk. IS-2 tanks, operated by both Soviet and Polish 2nd Army crews, were instrumental in the Battle of Gdańsk in March 1945. With 122mm armour-piercing capability the IS-2 was the most powerful Allied tank of the war.
