German-Russian Museum Karlshorst

Berlin, DE

The building where **Field Marshal Wilhelm Keitel** signed Germany's unconditional surrender to Soviet and Allied representatives on May 8–9, 1945, ending the war in Europe. Jointly operated by Germany and Russia, the museum documents the German-Soviet war from 1941 to 1945, including the final Battle of Berlin, in a space preserved largely as it was on the night of the surrender.
