Werwolf Headquarters

Hitler's **Führerhauptquartier Werwolf** near Vinnytsia in Ukraine, constructed in 1942 and used during the German summer offensive operations of 1942–43. Hitler spent several months here during Case Blue and the Stalingrad crisis, making key decisions from this forest bunker complex. Demolished by the Germans before their withdrawal in 1944; excavated foundations and partial bunker remains are visible at the site.
